    Install and manage mods and dependencies

    Mods change Minecraft behavior. Tegra selects files compatible with the instance during installation.

    Add a mod

    Section titled “Add a mod”
    1. Open the instance and select Mods.
    2. Choose Add content.
    3. Search for the project name.
    4. Open its details and review compatibility and relationships.
    5. Select Install and confirm the suggested files.

    Tegra selects a compatible release and includes required dependencies when the provider supplies that information.

    Understand relationships

    Section titled “Understand relationships”
    • Depends on: projects this mod needs.
    • Required by: installed mods that use this project.
    • Missing dependency: a required file that still needs installation.

    Do not remove a dependency before reviewing affected mods. Tegra may suggest unused dependencies during removal; review the selection before confirming.

    Use checkboxes to manage several items. Disabling keeps the file for later; removing deletes it from the instance. Restart the game after changing mods.

    If the game stops opening, undo the most recent change and see game will not start.
