Initial setup and Microsoft account

On first launch, Tegra only asks for the choices required to prepare the launcher.

Complete initial setup

1. Choose English or Português (Brasil).
2. Select your preferred theme and navigation layout.
3. Enable Console mode only if you plan to use a controller and full-screen interface. You can change it later.
4. Review your choices and complete setup.

You can repeat this flow from Settings › General › Redo initial setup without deleting instances.

Connect a Microsoft account

1. Open the account menu and choose Add account.
2. Select Microsoft.
3. Tegra displays a code and opens Microsoft’s official authentication page.
4. Sign in with the account that owns Minecraft Java Edition and enter the code.
5. Return to Tegra after the browser confirms authorization.

Caution

Tegra never needs your account password. Enter credentials only on official Microsoft pages opened in your browser.

An offline account can help with local testing, but it does not replace a Minecraft license and cannot access servers that require official authentication.

Expected result

Your name and avatar appear in the account menu. You can now create an instance or install a modpack.
